BILLING POLICY I have a time policy for billing for website or graphic work. If your updates you send take me less than 10 minutes to do, then I do not bill for that work. As an example, changing a few links, or changing an image, adding a banner, etc. I will not charge for small updates such as these, if they are an occasional thing. But sending me 15 updates a day, will require billing! So let's not abuse this policy! I charge ONLY for the time I spend actually working on your web pages or graphics. I do not charge for uploading time, or downloading time, or time I spend discussing things with you about the work. Anything listed on your bill will be for direct time I spent working on your website or graphics. Your billing statement will be emailed around the 1st of the following month. Normally the bill is due in 30 days, but exceptions are made for those making payments, or prearranged agreements on the payments LATE FEES AND COLLECTION POLICY The following fees only apply to accounts without pre-arranged payment schedules. Total on the bill is due in 30 days. I allow an additional 30 day grace period on the amount due. If no payment or arrangement for payment is made within 60 days of the billing date, then there will be an additional 5% late fee charge added on the balance each month until a payment is made. When the account has reached 120 days of no payment or there has been no contact to make arrangement for payment, then the amount due will be turned over to a collection agency. Unfortunately, due to the need arising to have this policy, it needed to be implemented. UPDATING POLICY Most usually I can make updates the day I get them, it depends on my work load at the time, but if it's something critical that needs done, I will make it a priority to do it first. For instance, if your whole website is not operational, then I would work on that website, before I corrected a few links on another website. Not that missing links, aren't important, but I make updates by matter of priority if I have work backed up. WEBHOSTING Pre-payment is required in advance for the amount for the web hosting. If for any reason, you don't require my services to develop your website, the web hosting will still remain yours for the time specified when paid. If you are only purchasing webhosting, I will give you all information on it when you pay for it. I can also change this information as needed throughout the contract time you purchased it for. WEB DESIGN OR RE-DESIGN If you already have webhosting, I will need the information to access it. We can discuss that in more detail one on one. If you use a password that you use on other programs, or don't feel safe that I have your password, you can change it to something else, while I work on it, and change it again when I am done. I won't be offended if you do this. I believe in, "better safe, than sorry." I require a deposit before I begin building your website. This will vary depending on the cost of the plan package we agreed on. This is determined on an individual basis. There is no set amount. Some clients pay me in full and some make payments that we prearranged. I am very flexible and easy to work with on this matter. It is difficult to set a price on refacing a website. There are a lot of factors that effect it, such as, how your website is previously set up and how the layout is set up. Without actually viewing all the pages and seeing this for myself, I have no way of knowing how much time it will take. Even if I have access to this information it is not always possible to give an exact estimate on this type of work. To begin building your website or refacing it, I will make your pages as you send me information, I work with the index page or homepage first. After all the links are figured out, I will need information on each link and the sub pages to those links and so on. Then we will progress going down the links on your homepage and make correlating pages there after. **Important note on sending me information** The more organized and understandable the information is that you send me, the faster and more efficient I can be at creating pages for your site. Please think this through, because if I have to redo a large quantity of pages, this can make your plan package or refacing cost more. If your not sure how you want it, then we can discuss it and and try different things and figure it out before I begin the work. After I receive the information and make those pages, I will contact you to approve the pages as I do them. It is CRITICAL that you tell me needed changes as we go. This makes it easier for me to make the pages, and enables me to get your website up quickly. HONESTY IS IMPORTANT! If you don't like something, or are not sure of something, please don't hesitate to tell me. If something is not looking right to you or set in a way you don't think is right, just tell me. I am good at what I do, but there are other ways to do things, that I may not see, so we both need to be satisfied with the job done on your website. I will give you my opinion if you are not sure of something, but bottom line is, I am being hired to do this for you, so make sure it's done how you want it to be. If this is a new website build, after the website is completely set up and approved by you then that is the set price for initial set up. Payment for rest of the money due will need to be made at this point. DOMAIN REGISTRATION I do register domain names for clients but it will be registered in an account in your name, so you always have control of it. I can assist you with this process and log into your account and change settings for you if needed. I register all my domain names at http://www.cheap-domainregistration.com/ but you can register domain names in many places.

There are exceptions to every rule, and all this information is not set it stone, things can be negotiated and problems worked out. This is just an outline, so you have an idea of how I work.
